Earl Scruggs Management

Under Louise's management for the past fifty years, Earl Scruggs reached the height of popularity with Grammy awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and the 2002 Orville H. Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award, among many others. Earl and Louise have recently been honored with a new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame that will run through June 2006.

Louise Scruggs had a distinct honor of being the first female manager/booking agent in the Country music industry, when she first started guiding the career of her husband, Earl Scruggs, who was then part of the legendary bluegrass act, Flatt and Scruggs. When Flatt and Scruggs disbanded in 1969, Louise managed the Earl Scruggs Revue that included her three sons Gary, Randy and Steve.

Louise Scruggs died February 2, 2006.
