Margaret Wright

Margaret (“Ret”) Wright spent most of her career working alongside Tom Sparkman, recording engineer for Mercury Custom Recording Studios. She handled the day-to-day operations that kept the studio moving—from booking sessions and managing masters and distribution to cataloging songs, billing, and accounting. Known as the woman behind the music, Margaret kept the studio running like a well-oiled machine while also calming and supporting artists, musicians, and industry professionals.
