Paige Connoers

Paige Conners was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where she began her professional career in the oil industry, working for British Petroleum and directional drilling companies. She even made a brief on-screen appearance as an extra in Urban Cowboy—a fitting prelude to a life that would soon take her to the heart of country music. In 1988, Paige moved to Nashville to join her soon-to-be husband, Tommy Conners, who had relocated the year prior. She began working temporary positions before finding her home at CBS Records/Sony Music in 1990, where she joined the Sales and Marketing team under Mike Martinovich and Mike Kraski. In 1991, she transitioned into the A&R department, working as Administrative Assistant to the legendary Bob Montgomery, and later Doug Johnson. It was during this time that Paige began stepping into production coordination— quietly building the foundation for what would become a remarkable career behind the scenes of some of country music’s most meaningful recordings. She later worked with producer Paul Worley as Executive Administrative Assistant, continuing to expand her role in production. Throughout her tenure at Sony, Paige’s professional dedication was matched by extraordinary personal strength. She battled breast cancer in 1991, welcomed twin daughters, Morgan and McKenna in 1997, and faced breast cancer again in 2000. In 2002, Paige followed Paul Worley to Warner Bros. Records, where she contributed to projects for artists such as Lady A, Big & Rich, and Rick Trevino. She remained with Paul Worley Productions until 2015, while also continuing independent production coordination work with producers including John Rich, Kyle Lehning, and others, contributing to projects for artists such as John Anderson, Lee Brice, Linda Carter, and Michael Feinstein. Across her career, Paige has contributed to more than 45 album releases and hundreds of recordings, working on projects for some of the most respected names in music, including Jewel, Martina McBride, Sara Evans, Ty Herndon and Chris Isaak. The projects she has helped bring to life represent over 25 Million albums sold worldwide. In 2016, Paige joined the Nashville Musicians Association, Local 257, in the recording department—a role that perfectly reflects her lifelong connection to the creative community. Having spent years coordinating sessions and working closely with musicians, she brought both experience and heart to a role that supports the creative and collaborative spirit of the recording industry. Known throughout the industry for her professionalism, resilience, and quiet excellence, Paige Conners has left an indelible mark on Nashville’s recording community. Her career stands as a reminder that some of the most enduring contributions are made not in the spotlight, but behind it, with dedication and an unwavering love for the music.
