With over 30 years of entertainment sales and development experience as well as being a veteran of William Morris Endeavor Agency, Valerie has participated in the negotiations of corporate sponsorships, concert events, artist touring, literary endeavors and television agreements. Valerie started her career in the music industry as an assistant in the Christian Department at William Morris. She was quickly promoted up through the ranks to Vice President in the Nashville office. Valerie holds the honor of being the first agent for Nick Jonas, The Jonas Brothers and Katie Perry (Kate Hudson at the time) before they became international pop stars. She moved into the Adult Contemporary department, where she represented clients such as Aretha Franklin, The B-52s, Kenny Loggins and others. In her current position as VP, Queen of Everything for Gary Musick Productions (yes that’s her real title), she engages her years of music experience by leading her team in the creation of engaging Activation Marketing campaigns for musical acts and corporations. Some of her clients include Shawn Mendes, Luke Bryan, Spotify and Journeys Shoes. She also leads the destination management side of the company, Destination Musick City, a full-service destination and event management company. Valerie and her husband, Kip, are also partners with Kix Brooks (of Brooks & Dunn fame) in Arrington Vineyards, located just south of Nashville. Valerie is a proud mom of two, with both of her girls making their mark on Nashville just as their mother has. In her free time, Valerie enjoys a bold glass of wine and long walks with her husband and their St. Bernard, Beaujolais.
